“ We have been coming to Orta for nearly 20 years and we always get take away pizza when we first arrive as they are delicious and reasonably priced. Then we dine here few times during our month's stay. We always get a warm welcome and how Alberto gets those steaks so tender??? We'll never know! My husband is overjoyed to see the trout lasagne back on the menu as it's one of his favourite meals ever. I am always torn on what to choose as everything is so good but the steak in barbera sauce with grilled veggies and fries is my daughter's go to. I really can't recommend this place highly enough! ”
“ Very nice location and very good pizza. Also the staff is really helpful. Due to our own mistake we ordered a pizza buffolina assuming there only be buffalo mozzarella on it (due to an intolerance to cow's milk) and when it turned out there was also normal mozzarella on the pizza they directly made a new one without hassle. Would go again! ”

“ I probably would have given this place 4 or 5 stars, if I didn't go through such a bad service experience. I went with a group of four when there weren't many people at the place. We all ordered and they entered our order on a mobile tablet, so assumed the serving process was semi automated. Everyone on my table received their dishes, but me, so I waited for 15 min then asked whether they had my wine because they didn't serve it yet which was weird because everyone else had their drinks. Then I waited another 20 min basically after everyone finished their dishes and finally received mine. The worst part was I was probably the hungriest or if everyone too. I did eventually get my dish and I think part of the mix up was that I ordered an entree and everyone else ordered a side (pasta), but they should have just brought everything out at once. Anyway I had the local steak on the menu, which honestly was unbelievable. It had a creamy brown sauce on it and the meat was so tender, perfectly cooked. ”
